History
Alexander’s, located in the heart of downtown Scranton, first opened its doors in 1995. Our name was chosen in honor of the owner’s late father. An 800 square-foot space on Linden Street was our first location, and offered hair services along with minimal spa services. Due to the emerging popularity of spa services and a strong need for even more room, Alexander’s moved in 2001 to its present location: the Gordon Building at 431 Lackawanna Avenue. In 2006, we began expanding and renovating the historical building. Alexander’s, currently staffing over 60 people, is proud to offer outstanding spa treatments, as well as a variety of designer hair services for both men and women. Our team of professionals is trained to the highest international and technical standards of performance. Whatever you need, Alexander’s will ensure an unsurpassable experience.
